The Event
After 15 years of absence, the mythical Spa 1000 Km. ®
made their big come back last year in September on the most beautiful
track in the world ! Who can forget the legendary heated exchanges
between Rodriguez and Siffert on Porsche 917’s, Jacky Ickx on Ferrari,
Henri Pescarolo and his incredible lap record on Matra or Derek Bell on
Mirage ?
In front of a large and friendly public, the brilliant
prototypes, monsters of Le Mans 24Hours, have brought back to life the
legend of motor sport as we love it with close fighting, great strategy,
impressive team work, well, a great show… and the final victory for the
king of endurance, Tom Kristensen, six times winner in Le Mans.

Le Mans Endurance Series
The second edition in September 2004 will see the Spa
1000 Km. ® incorporate the brand new and very challenging endurance
championship “Le Mans Endurance Series” including very prestigious
meetings as Monza, Nürburgring and Silverstone 1000 Km.
Beside the main event, the weekend offers an impressive
selection of support races : F3 FIA European Cup, Formula Palmer Audi, F
X Sport Series, UK Formula Ford Championship, Classic Endurance Racing,
each more spectacular than the others.
An event
undoubtedly destined to become a must for motor sport in Belgium.
