Commemoration Circuit des Ardennes 2026
Registration opens Tuesday, March 31
Following the highly successful first edition of the Ardennes Circuit Commemoration, organized by the Royal Automobile Club of Spa, Pierre Delettre and his team are preparing the next event: the 2026 edition, which will take place on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9. Registration opens on Tuesday, March 31, so don’t miss out on this event, which is more popular than ever.
As announced by R.A.C. Spa, the Ardennes Circuit Commemoration will evolve for the 2025 and 2026 editions, becoming an annual event held on the second weekend of August. With the collaboration with the City of Bastogne extended for five years, vintage and classic car enthusiasts can rest assured: the event, held in the heart of the province of Luxembourg, has secured a permanent place on the calendar of major events in Bastogne.
The primary objective of the 2025 edition was to establish a more accessible and welcoming atmosphere. This resulted in a wonderfully diverse selection of cars and motorcycles present throughout the weekend, as well as McAuliffe Square—more than ever the nerve center of the event—brought to life by a well-organized Drivers’ Club and various stands directly related to the world of vintage vehicles.
Not to be missed is the parade of vehicles along Bastogne’s main street on Sunday afternoon, followed by a very convivial awards ceremony.
All these features will return on August 8 and 9, along with several new additions that have already been confirmed.
“As announced, we have reviewed the 2025 edition, which will lead to several changes,” explains Pierre Delettre on behalf of R.A.C. Spa. “McAuliffe Square will continue to evolve, notably serving as the setting for a high-quality static exhibition built around a specific theme, which will change each year. We will soon reveal next August’s theme.
While the Drivers’ Club will remain a key feature, it will host a cocktail reception with live music on Saturday evening, to which all participants will be invited upon their return to Bastogne. Some people criticized the catering last summer for not being up to standard. We have taken this feedback into account: the cocktail reception will be hosted by Julien Lapraille, a renowned local chef who appears on the RTBF program ‘Les Ambassadeurs’.”
During the midday breaks, the quality of service will also be improved to ensure everyone’s satisfaction.
To take advantage of all this, registration will open on Tuesday, March 31 via the website www.racspa.be. Various options will be available, particularly regarding catering.
Otherwise, nothing changes: the Ardennes Circuit Commemoration remains exclusively open to models dating from the dawn of the automobile up to 1976—with routes and options varying according to the chosen category—while motorcycles must have been built before 1960.
The route, once again designed by Eric Chapa, is currently being finalized. It will consist exclusively of roads open to traffic; therefore, strict adherence to the highway code is mandatory. Each team will receive a roadbook based on a route measurement system with written notes that are easy for everyone to understand.
The Ardennes Circuit Commemoration is therefore, more than ever, presented as a leisurely drive with no competitive element whatsoever.
The lineup will be updated regularly between now and early August. As for the general public, they will in due course have access to the coordinates of several checkpoints, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the event’s atmosphere.
