Shakedown: a New Feature for 2026

To give teams and drivers the opportunity to carry out a test session on a course representative of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2026, a full-fledged Shakedown will be held this Thursday, January 28, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, in Houffalize.

The headquarters for this full-scale training session, which will welcome around fifty cars, will be located at the Incar Motor Houffalize facilities. Each team will be required to pass through the headquarters before each new run, ensuring almost constant activity—especially since a pop-up bar will be set up for the occasion. A perfect way to kick off the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne!

Scrutineering Starting Thursday at Noon

For those who can’t wait for the Shakedown scheduled for Thursday evening (5:00–9:00 PM), it will be possible to soak up the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne atmosphere from noon onwards in McAuliffe Square. The traditional technical inspections will begin at midday and continue until Friday afternoon.

Autograph Session and Parade on Friday Evening

At the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne, Friday evening is synonymous with a festive atmosphere and an unmissable event! In McAuliffe Square, under the technical inspection tent, the autograph session will begin at 6:00 PM and is sure to attract a large crowd of fans eager to collect personalized souvenirs.

One hour later, the parade will see all the cars authorized to start the event drive down Bastogne’s main street for a grand celebration with the public. Make no mistake—the atmosphere will be electric in the town center, as well as in the city’s many restaurants and bars. Everyone is welcome!

Bastogne Summer Festival Atmosphere During the Friday Evening Parade

In addition to the classic racing cars, crews, and teams, the ever-growing crowds attending the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2026 Parade will be treated to top-notch musical entertainment on Friday between 5:45 PM and 9:00 PM. To tie in with the Bastogne Summer Festival—which will notably welcome Patrick Bruel next summer—a DJ will be on hand to turn up the energy. It will be none other than David Body from Liège, a well-known figure in the motorsport world, who will be behind the decks! A great atmosphere is guaranteed…

McAuliffe Square More Lively Than Ever!

In addition to the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne podium—once again hosted by Thomas Bastin—and the marquee offering a place to warm up, quench your thirst, or pick up a souvenir or two, McAuliffe Square is set to buzz with activity throughout the weekend.

Fans will be able to enjoy a simulator stand, several merchandise stalls, the GT2i area on Thursday and Friday before it moves to the service park, and a stand promoting the Circuit des Ardennes Commemoration, also organized by the Royal Automobile Club of Spa during the second weekend of August. Several contemporary cars provided by partners Incar Motor and Garage Gérard will also be on display.

Last but not least, the non-profit organization Drive for Charity, which brings together the motorsport community in the fight against cancer, will be running an awareness stand where fans can also try their hand at a Batak game.

First Regularity Tests (RTs): Where and When?

While spectators will have to wait until Friday to discover the full route of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2026 via the official program and the app, the event organizers are well aware that, for practical reasons, some information needs to be shared in advance.

This coming Saturday, January 31, the Legend/Challenger group will take to the podium at Place McAuliffe at 8:53 AM, before heading towards Longvilly, on the outskirts of the city, to contest the first Regularity Test. The start of this RT will be given at 9:14 AM.

Afterwards, the crews will continue towards Livarchamps before making their first return to Bastogne.

As for the Classic 65 / Classic 50 group, they will kick off the action with the Sainte-Ode RT, with the start scheduled for 9:11 AM.

An Even More Powerful App!

While the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne is the pinnacle of classic car events, it also stands out thanks to the impressive tools offered to spectators and fans, ensuring they don’t miss a thing. The Legend Boucles app, available for the 2026 edition, is more effective than ever.

On the first page of the official program—on sale from Friday at 4:30 PM (in the marquee) for €15—a QR code for iOS and Android allows users to download the app.

With the app, fans can follow the event live, check the standings, access practical information, and much more.

But that’s not all! By entering the access code (also included in the official program—note: one code per program purchased and per smartphone or tablet), users gain access to the interactive digital section of the program. This includes:

  • Videos of the various Regularity Tests (RTs)
  • Drone photos of key locations (refreshment stands, spectator areas, etc.)
  • Detailed information about each RT
  • Animated RT routes via Google Maps

This system works like a GPS, guiding spectators directly to their chosen viewing point within an RT, regardless of their starting location.

Last but not least, live schedule updates for each category will allow the public to know the actual start time of every RT, taking into account any unforeseen circumstances during the event.
